The Contact List
The Contact List displays all the Contacts that your Administrator has allowed you to see.
To open the Contact List, click on the 'Contacts' menu:

To find a specific Contact, first, you have to select its Contact Type in the upper-left corner of the window.
If you don't know the Type of your Contact, choose the '.All' Contact Type. It will display all the Contacts to whom you have access. Administrators can select what Contact Types users can see in the 'Access to Contact Types' tab of the 'Manage Users' window.

Each row displays a different Contact. To view more details and open up the Contact's Card, click on its name.
The 'HTML' button generates a HTML version of the list. This is
useful if you want to print it, or send it to someone else. To print the list,
click on the button, and then on the
.
Click on any menu other than 'SURF' and 'LOGIN' to come back to the Contact
List.
If you no longer talk to, or deal with a Contact, you can change his status to 'inactive' (see his Contact Card). Inactive Contacts are not displayed on the Contact List, unless the 'show inactive contacts' check box is checked. You can reactivate a Contact by displaying inactive Contacts, clicking on his name in the list, and removing the check from the 'This Contact is inactive' check box on his Contact Card.
You can choose what kind of information you want to see in the Contact List by clicking on the 'Select Columns' check box. This will open up the 'Presentation Formats for Contact lists' window. You could choose, for example, to display only the Name, State, and Language of Contacts to select a Candidate for an interview.
Selecting more than one Contacts at once, and creating Groups
You can select multiple Contacts when
is checked. Click on the gray 'buttons' on the left of the grid, while holding
either the 'Shift' or 'Ctrl' keys. Click
here for more details.
When more than one entries are selected, you can create a new group:

A grid can also be sorted, by clicking on the title of any row. For example, to create a Group containing all your Contacts that live in San Francisco, sort the list by the column 'Address C'. It will then be much easier to select them.
To add a new Contact to the list, select its Type in the drop-down menu in the upper-left corner of the window, then click on the 'Add a new Contact' button. If this button is not visible, your Administrator has to authorize you in the 'Access to Contact Types' tab of 'User management'.
The following window will pop up:

The Contact 'number' can in fact contain both digits and letters. If you do not know what number to enter, click on the 'Display the next number' button.
Click on the OK button. TeemWork will create the Contact, and display its empty Contact Card. Fill in as much information as you can, and don't forget to click on the 'Memorize' button when you are done. Otherwise, you will have to restart from scratch.
In some teams, there may be hundreds or thousands of Contacts. Finding the one you are looking for may be a daunting task. Fortunately, TeemWork provides many ways to quickly find the person you are looking for.
Searching by first name, name or personal contact
If you already know the name of the Contact you are looking for, the easiest way is to enter it in the 'Firstname, name, p. contact' field.

TeemWork searches only the Contacts of the selected type. If you do not know the Contact Type of the person you are looking for, select the '.All' Contact Type.
WARNING: You cannot enter the full name of a person in this field. For example, if you are looking for mister Jack Klein, you can enter 'Jack' or 'Klein', but not both.
Keywords are useful for finding someone matching certain criteria. For example, Candidates could have keywords describing their abilities. For more information, see the Contact Card.
To make a keyword search, click on the
checkbox. The top of the window will display a new field 'Keywords'. Enter the
keyword or keywords that you want to look for in this field, then click on the
'Show List' button to display the results:

As is shown in the preceding image, you can enter more than one keywords. If you do so, two radio buttons will appear, giving you the choice between displaying all the Contacts that have ALL the keywords, or those that have ANY of the keywords. Obviously, selecting 'All' is more restrictive.
